This specimen was lot 2635 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $190.40. The catalog description[1] noted, "HOTAKI: Mahmud Shah, 1722-1724, AR rupi, Qandahar, ND, undated type, VF to EF, S. Struck to the Mughal standard of India, later adopted by Nadir Shah and his successors in Iran." This type was also struck dated AH 1135 at Qandahar and many other mints.
