This specimen was lot 75345 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Indore. 1/8 Rupee, ND (1890-94). Indore Mint. Shivaji Rao (under Victoria as Empress). PCGS EF-45. A seldom-seen fractional denomination for this popular sunface issue. From the Richard Margolis Collection." The SCWC attributes this issue to Tukojirao III Holkar XIII Bahadur (r. 1903-26) but dates it VS 1947-1951, which is during the reign of the aforementioned Shivaji Rao Holkar Bahadur XII (r. 1886-1903). Quarter, half and full rupees exist.
