This specimen was lot 21077 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. 2 Annas, 1955-(B). Bombay Mint. NGC MS-64. RARE date. Exceptionally well preserved with a bold strike, terrific luster and light attractive toning. Tied with one other example for finest certified at either NGC or PCGS." The coinage was decimalized in 1957 and this denomination dropped.

Recorded mintage: unknown but few.

Specification: 5.76 g, copper-nickel.
