This specimen was lot 57097 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2024), where it sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Hyderabad. Rupee, AH 1334 Year 6 (1915). Hyderabad Mint. Mir Usman Ali Khan (under George V as Emperor). NGC MS-66." The princely state of Hyderabad was one of the last absorbed into the Republic of India in 1948. It was also the largest state and residence of the last remnant of Mughal suzerainty in central India. This type was issued years 1-3 and 6-14 and is common altho some dates are scarce.
