This specimen was lot 74022 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. Silver Forint, 1966-BP. Kremnica Mint. PCGS PROOF-67. Made in proof for just 2 short years, this Superb Gem is flashy, well made and attractive. From the Kings Norton Mint Collection." The circulating version was made in aluminum 1957-66. In 1966 and 1967, proofs were made in silver.

Recorded mintage: 5,680,000 plus 5,000 silver proofs.

Specification: circulation issue: 1.5 g, aluminum, 23.7 mm diameter; collector issue: 5.85 g, 0.835 fine silver, 22.8 mm diameter.
