This specimen was lot 74714 in Stack's Bowers May 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $109. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. 15 Krajczar, 1682-KB. Kremnica Mint. Leopold I. NGC AU-53." This type was issued 1661-86 from Kremnitz with a very similar coin (KM 191) issued 1674-95 from Nagybánya. In German, this coin was also known as a 15 kreuzer. At the time, 60 krajczar = 1 forint, 2 forint = 1 thaler; 15 krajczar = 1/8 thaler. Hungary in the 1680's was in the process of being "liberated" from the Turks by the Austrians.
