This specimen was lot 29860 in Heritage sale 3037 (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $2,232.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ferdinand I Ducat 1555-KB MS62 PCGS, Kremnitz mint. A fine example of this type, well-struck with ample luster on a bright yellow-gold flan. The details are superb and the fields bear few noteworthy marks." Friedberg lists this type for 1527-65 from Kremnitz (shown here), Neustadt (Fr-49) and Hermannstadt (Fr-50).
