This specimen was lot 55145 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $90. The catalog description[1] noted, "CHINA. Hunan. 10 Cash, ND (1902-06). PCGS EF-40 Gold Shield. Variety with narrow "HU-NAN" and concave rosette petals. A wholesome and presentable circulated example of the type with even brown patina." This type was struck in many varieties. Another ten cash (Y-113) features a side-facing dragon.
