This specimen was lot 2036 in Sedwick Treasure Auction 39 (Winter Park, FL, May 2026), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "HONDURAS, struck at the Philadelphia Mint, 20 centavos, 1951, PCGS MS62. Flashy example with pale golden toning." The peso was dropped in favor of the lempira in 1931. The lempira was pegged at US$0.50, making this coin worth ten cents. In fact, these were struck in Philadelphia on dime blanks. Other dates include 1931, 1951-52 and 1958.
