This specimen was lot 30490 in Stack's Bowers ANA auction (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $1,057.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Hannover. Taler, 1865-B. PCGS MS-64 Secure Holder. Frisian Oath commemorative. Lightly toned and highly lustrous." This type is scarce, not rare, despite the low mintage. In 1866, Hannover was swallowed up by Prussia and the coinage ended.
