Halberstadt in 1547

This specimen was lot 124 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €1,700 (about US$2,196 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Halberstadt, STADT Reichstaler 1633. RR Hübsche Patina, sehr schön. Exemplar der Auktion Schweizerischer Bankverein 39, Basel 1996, Nr. 424. (Germany, city of Halberstadt, thaler of 1633. Rare, handsome patina, very fine. From SBC sale 39, lot 424.)"

The SCWC does not price this type, which was issued by the city, not the bishop.
