This specimen was struck for Guatemala in 1925 and 1944-49, most likely in London. The 1945 and 1947 are the most common dates. In 1950, the quetzal on the obverse was replaced by a ceiba or kapok tree, which design is still in use, tho no longer in silver.

Recorded mintage: 1,834,000.

Specification: 1.66 g, 0.720 fine silver.
