Guatemala 1873 4 reales rev DSLR.jpg

This four reales from Guatemala is a variation on the familiar slouched Justice type struck 1873-79 and 1892-94. The "D" on the reverse is an assayer's initial, not a mintmark. Despite the scanty mintage, the date is not rare in circulated condition.

Recorded mintage: 24,000.

Specification: 12.5 g, 0.900 fine silver, .361 troy oz ASW.

Catalog reference: KM 150.
