This specimen was lot 41148 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "GUATEMALA. 1/4 Real, 1860. Nueva Guatemala Mint. NGC MS-62. A well-produced Mint State example of the date. Attractive metallic gray toning augments its eye appeal further. From the EMO Collection." This type was struck in 1859-69 and this date is uncommon.

Recorded mintage: 116,000.
