This specimen was lot 557 in Schulman auction 379 (Amsterdam, June 2024), where it sold for €600 (about US$771 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"GRONINGEN Stad. Jager of 2 stuiver. 1605, Silver Dubbele adelaar met dwarsbalkschild op de borst in versierd schild, jaartal in omschrift; .⋮. MONETA. NOVA. GRONINGE. 1605. Kz. dwarsbalkschild op kort gebloemd kruis .:. SIT. NOMEN. DOMINI. BENEDI. R. Aantrekkelijk stuk. Bijna prachtig. (city of Groningen, silver hunter or two stuivers of 1605. Obverse: double headed eagle supprting the city arms inside a decorated shield, date in legend; reverse: city arms on short floriate cross. Attractive, about extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1604-05 but was not the first of its denomination.
