This specimen was lot 71432 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $132. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. 6 Pence, 1883. London Mint. Victoria. PCGS MS-63+ Gold Shield. A nicely struck and attractive coin with wholly original fields and rich toning." This sixpence, roughly equal to a dime, was struck 1838-87 and is common in all grades altho choice specimens are expensive. The bust was slightly modified in 1880.
