This specimen was lot 71169 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Farthing, 1830. London Mint. George IV. NGC MS-63 Brown. Emanating from the penultimate year of issue for the type, this choice piece offers a deep brown surfaces and an enticing overall look." This type is listed for 1826-31 altho the 1831's were struck only in proof, making this the last circulation date. It is fairly common in grades up to Uncirculated.
