This specimen was lot 245 in Sincona sale 75 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$971 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Grossbritannien | Königreich. George III. 1760-1820. 1/2 Guinea 1769, London. Second laureate head. Stop after GRATIA. NGC AU55." This type was struck 1764-74. While scarce, it is more available than any of the half guineas of George II.
