This specimen was lot 30749 in Heritage sale 3081 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $5,760. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: George II gold Guinea 1752 MS63 NGC. The finest certified 1752 Guinea by NGC or PCGS, a glorious choice specimen with perfectly rendered details and flawless cartwheel luster across the entirety of the planchet. George II's Guineas are notorious for their shallow engraving and heavy circulation, rendering Mint State pieces conditional rarities of significant popularity; as such, this supreme example must surely find a place within a top-tier British collection." This type is listed for 1747-60; all dates are expensive.
