This specimen was lot 73004 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Santa Ana, CA, May 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Graubunden. 1/6 Batzen, 1807. PCGS MS-63. Mintage of only 58,000 pieces. Two year type. Full silvering, sharply struck with light toning and attractive luster." The canton of Graubunden (Grisons in French) issued a variety of coins during 1807-42, ranging from billon 1/6 batzen to a gold 16 franken. This type was struck 1807 and 1820. Forty batzen = four franken = one thaler and ten rappen = one batzen.
