This specimen was lot 21266 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Las Vegas, August 2020), where it sold for $5,280. The catalog description[1] noted, "GIBRALTAR. Trimetallic 5 Crown, 2001. NGC PROOF-67 Ultra Cameo. Composed of platinum (APW: .8645 oz), gold (AGW: 2.3602 oz), and silver (ASW: 1.7728), this visually engaging coin was struck for the turn of the 21st Century. A lovely and brilliant proof with hard mirrored fields, frosted cameo devices and an interesting bullseye arrangement of the metal alloys." This is the only issue of this module from Gibraltar, a captive of the Popjoy mint.
