This specimen was lot 74796 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2024), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRENCH INDO-CHINA. Centime, 1909-A. Paris Mint. NGC MS-64 Brown. Deeply toned with hues of cobalt, magenta, and sun-yellow and enveloped by glossy luster." This type was struck 1908-23, 1926-31, 1937-39 in substantial quantities altho the 1909 is a better date. The previous type (KM 8) had a weight of 7.51 g.
