France 1999 6-55 francs rev DSLR.jpg

Starting in the 1980's, the Paris mint issued so many NCLT's that the standard catalogs had to drop them to keep the books a manageable size. This one was struck to promote the changeover from the franc to the euro. It is not listed in Gadoury or Le Franc. The face value of 6.55957 francs = one euro.

Recorded mintage: 200,000.

Specification: 13 g, 0.900 fine silver, plain edge.

Catalog reference: KM-1254.
