This douzain is the first type struck for Henry III (the second type has two lilies and two "H's" on the reverse). It was minted in the millions 1575-96 and Sombart reported 485 examples of all the dates and mints. It had a face value of 12 deniers tournois.

Recorded mintage: est. 957,066.

Specification: 2.39 g, .240 fine silver.
