The catalog description[1] noted, "Puente, CA - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 601 The First NB Ch. # 9894. A scarce Los Angeles County bank, particularly in large size. Fine, with a small paper pull which affects little."

Puente, California. $10 1929 Ty. 1. Fr. 1801-1. The First NB. Charter #9894. Very Good-Fine. A seldom offered Los Angeles County note which shows here with mostly even wear. A single spindle hole below the left serial number is mentioned for complete accuracy. A charter which has not been offered in this small size type at major auction for over five years."
