The catalog description[1] noted, "Glendora, CA - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 626 The First NB Ch. # 8652, A just plain rare large size example from the only bank to issue in this Los Angeles County location. Just three large notes are listed in the census from here, including this piece, which was formerly part of the Colver collection. Fine. Ex-Colver Collection sale, lot 1804, acquired from I. Nelson Clark in 1999." This specimen was subsequently lot 20662 in Heritage auction 3567 (Long Beach, CA, September 2018), where it sold for $2,400.

The catalog description[1] noted, "Glendora, CA - $5 1929 Ty. 1 The First NB Ch. # 8652, The first of three small examples from this none too common southern California bank. Fine, trimmed just a bit off center on the left side."
