The second note was lot 2653 in Goldberg sale 62 (Beverly Hills, February 2010), where it sold for $10,062.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "1882, $10 National Bank Note. The First NB, Fullerton, CA. PCGS Very Fine 30. This large size-only bank was chartered in 1900 and closed in 1924. The higher grade of the two known $10 Value Backs from here, this piece is one of the nicest of the dozen reported large size examples in the census. The last Second Charter note sold from here, a lower grade Date Back example, brought $6,000 more than six years ago. Expect spirited bidding that could far surpass our estimate."

The third note was lot 2654 in Goldberg sale 62 (Beverly Hills, February 2010), where it sold for $3,795. The catalog description[1] noted, "1882, $20 National Bank Note. The First NB, Fullerton, CA. PCGS Apparent Fine 15. This rare note is the only known 1882 series Date Back example of any denomination from any Orange County Bank, and is one of just seven reported Second Charter notes of any design type from the county. Despite receiving an 'Apparent' grade from PCGS Currency for some trivial repairs near the center that affect nothing, it is a pleasing example overall and stands alone on rarity. When last sold as part of the Horwedel collection in 2004, it brought a hair over $6,000. Expect no less when this piece crosses the block today." This note was previously lot 17728 in Heritage auction 354 (the Horwedel sale, Long Beach, CA, September 2004), where it sold for $6,037.50.
