A great serial number 1 large size note from this Riverside County bank with lovely pen signatures of S. S. Cutter, the assistant cashier, and J. M. Westerfield, the president. It has been over fifteen years since another large size number 1 note from here has been publicly offered and, tonight, we are pleased to offer not only this note but also a number 1 small size in this auction. This note was last on the market in a 1991 Superior sale and it is a bright and original specimen with just a couple of minor ink spots on the back and irregular top and bottom margins that are the result of the note being torn from the sheet with a straight edge. From the Norris Turner Collection."
