Sincona sale 99, lot 447

This specimen was lot 447 in Sincona Auction 99 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 850 CHF (about US$1,281 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSLAND Kaiserreich und Föderation, Nicholas II. 1894-1917, 5 Penniä 1910, Helsinki Mint. Mintage for Finland. Selten, Rare. NGC MS63 RB."

This is the key date of a type struck 1896-1901, 1906-17 for Nicholas II. The prior type varied only in the imperial monogram.

Recorded mintage: 60,000.

Specification: 6.5 g, copper, 25 mm diameter.
