This specimen was lot 3420 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $3,055. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Zurich. 1,000 Franc, 1992. NGC PROOF-69. Fr-514a; Bruce-S41; HMZ-2-1346i. Shooting festival commemorative for the competition in Dielsdorf. From a mintage of only 175 pieces and the lowest mintage commemorative of this denomination. Attractive surfaces with a design sporting extensive frosting all of which is intact and showing no breaks or flecks. Contrasting nicely are the flashing brilliant fields. Housed in an older generation NGC holder."
