This specimen was lot 4258 in Sincona sale 51 (Zurich, October 2018), where it sold for 7,500 CHF (about US$9,047 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"2 Franken 1879 B, Bern. Divo 28. HMZ 2-1201c. NGC MS64+. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Swiss confederation, two francs of 1879, Bern mint. Magnificent condition.)"
KM 21, 10 g, .835 fine silver, m. 517,750 + specimens. an expensive date.
