This specimen was lot 1118 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, July 2014), where it sold for $__. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Gustaf VI Adolf. 1950-1973. AR 5 Kronor (33.5mm, 17.94 g, 12h). Commemorating the King’s 80th Birthday. Stockholm mint. Benkt Ulvfot, engraver. Dated 1962 U. KM 838; Tingström 4. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 65. Choice brilliant uncirculated with just a hint of patina. Only one graded higher in 66. The total graded population is only eight pieces with this being the second highest. Close to 100,000 of these were melted."
