This specimen was lot 30625 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $2,820. The catalog description[1] noted, "Philip V gold 8 Escudos 1732 S-PA XF45 NGC, Seville mint, KM346.2. Well-preserved for the type with an even amount of friction across the higher points and a number of contact marks within the fields. Additionally, this highly-desirable selection displays aged patina with moments of residual, coppery luster. Currently the only-known certified example of this date, and highly-desirable as such."
