This specimen was lot 31787 in Heritage sale 3035 (Long Beach, September 2014), where it sold for $3,055. The catalog description[1] noted, "Brabant. Philip IV of Spain gold 2 Souverain d'or 1647 AU55 NGC, Antwerp mint, KM74.1, FR-105, Flat collar variety. A fantastic example of this large gold type, mostly centered and with an extremely strong obverse. The fields are bright, without any notable issues and overall the piece retains much of its original luster. Truly a remarkable offering and exceptionally scarce at this grade level."
