This specimen was lot 1349 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €4,600 (about US$6,200 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWARZBURG, SCHWARZBURG-RUDOLSTADT, GRAFSCHAFT, Friedrich Karl, 1790-1793. Konv.-Taler 1791, Saalfeld. Dav-2772; Fischer 586. In dieser Erhaltung von allergrößter Seltenheit. Kabinettstück von feinster Erhaltung. Erstabschlag, Stempelglanz. (county of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, Frederick Charles, 1790-93, convention thaler of 1791, Saalfeld mint. Of the greatest rarity in this condition, presentation piece struck on new dies, uncirculated.)"
