This specimen was lot 1317 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €2,000 (about US$2,584 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SACHSEN-GOTHA, HERZOGTUM, AB 1672 SACHSEN-GOTHA-ALTENBURG Friedrich I. allein, 1675-1680-1691. Doppelter Feinsilbertaler nach zinnaischem Fuß o. J. (ab 1683), Gotha. 43.65 g. Dav-LS421; Schnee 460; Steguweit 144 (dort als Feinsilberschautaler). RR Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (duchy of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg, Frederick I, sole rule, 1680-91, undated double fine silver thaler (about 1683). Rare, very fine to extremely fine.)"
