This specimen was lot 43905 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Ruble, 1822-CNB NA. PCGS AU-55 Gold Shield. C-130; Bit-135. Well struck with lovely deep old envelope tone highlighted by iridescent hues hugging the devices that pop out when tilted in the light. An attractive example sure to please."
