This specimen was lot 30498 in Heritage sale 3040 (Chicago, April 2015), where it sold for $4,248.80. The catalog description[1] noted, "Alexander II gold 3 Roubles 1871 CПБ-HI MS64 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, Bitkin-33 (R), Fr-164. Obv. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle. Rev. Date and value in circle. Well struck, with orange-golden color and full mint luster. A bit of excess metal is visible around the reverse rim, but no significant contact marks. Quite Rare in this Choice condition."
