This specimen was lot 30493 in Heritage sale 3040 (Chicago, April 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Alexander II 25 Kopecks 1865 CПБ-HФ MS63 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, Bitkin-140 (R1), KM-Y23. Obv. Crowned doubled-headed Imperial eagle in circle. Rev. Crowned date and value in wreath. Variegated toning, with light gray on the obverse and gray and gold on the reverse. The strikes is bold and minor contact marks are noted on both sides. A very small mintage of only 16,019 pieces. Rare in Mint State."
