This specimen was lot 31292 in Heritage sale 3037 (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $8,812.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Alexander II Rouble 1857 CПБ-ФБ PR63 Cameo NGC, St. Petersburg mint, Bitkin-47 (R), KM-C168.1. Obv. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle. Rev, crowned date and value in wreath. Deeply mirrored fields with frosted devices. The strike is full and the surfaces show moderate abrasions with light, lime-green patina. Rare in Proof and the first example we have seen since our sale of the Hesselgesser Proof 65 coin in 2007 at $25,000."
