This specimen was lot 30379 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $493.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "British Colony - Elizabeth II copper-nickel Proof 3 Pence 1968 PR65 NGC, KM8. One-year type. Virtually as-struck and delicately toned on both sides with a tiny strike-through in the field to the left of Elizabeth that likely prevented an even finer grade. Reportedly struck with a mintage of only 10 pieces and as such, highly coveted when offered. The Read Collection."
