This specimen was lot 3286 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €12,000 (about US$15,502 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"KÖNIGREICH Philipp II. 1598-1621. 2 Cruzados o. J. Lissabon. 5.90 g. ß · PHILIPPVS D · G · REX PORTVGAL · Gekröntes Wappen, l. L (darüber und zu den Seiten je ein Punkt) / B (darüber, darunter und zu den Seiten je ein Punkt), r. ¿ / II / À//(Kreuz, bestehend aus fünf Punkten) IN · HOC (Kreuz, bestehend aus fünf Punkten) SIGNO · VINCES Kreuz, in den Winkeln je fünf Kugeln. Gomes F2 23.01 leicht var. (RARA); Fr-54. GOLD. Von größter Seltenheit. Feine Goldpatina, min. Prägeschwäche, sehr schön. (kingdom of Portugal, Philip II, 1598-1621, undated double cruzado, Lisbon mint. Obverse: crowned arms; reverse: voided cross with five dots in each field. Very rare, fine gold color, lightly cleaned, very fine.)"
