This specimen was lot 142 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, July 2014), where it sold for $__. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLONIAL AFRICA, Portuguese. Guiné Portuguesa (Portuguese Guinea). República Portuguesa. 1910-1974. AR 10 Escudos (23mm, 5.09 g, 6h). Lisboa (Lisbon) mint. Dated 1952. KM 10; Y 10. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 66. Gem blast white BU. Highest ever graded specimen and a one year only type."
