This specimen was lot 21598 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it sold for $960. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. 5 Zlotych, 1831-KG. Warsaw Mint. NGC MS-62. KM-C124; Gum-2539; Bit-2. Mintage: 22,571. Struck during the November Uprising. A pleasing, well preserved example with a sharp strike, lustrous fields, and a minimum of toning."
15.5 g, .868 fine silver, 31.5 mm diameter, m. 22,571. revolutionary coinage, along with 3 grosze, 10 groszy, 2 zlote. czarist 1831-KG 5 slotych also struck 1831 (C-116).
