POLAND. Zamosc. 2 Zlote, 1813. NGC AU-55. KM-5; Parchimowics-1013; Gum-2478; Mailliet-Plate-CXXIX, #1. Very scarce as a type and RARE in this quality. Only 7,830 pieces were struck during the siege of Zamosc. Coinage of the 2 Zlote was completed by November 22, 1813, two days later Zamosc surrendered to the Russian army. The russians ordered the coins melted. Sold $2,585.
