This specimen was lot 2789 in Sincona sale 26 (Zurich, October 2015), where it sold for 2,800 CHF (about US$3,459 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Pfalz-Kurlinie, Friedrich III. 1557-1576 Taler 1567. Heidelberg 28.66 g. Slg. Memmesheimer 2200. Dav-9631. Selten. Fast vorzüglich. Schöne Patina (electorate of Pfalz, Frederick III, 1557-76, thaler of 1567, Heidelberg mint. Scarce, choice extremely fine, handsome patina.)"
