This specimen was lot 3240 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $2,820. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Overijssel. 2 Ducat, ND. NGC AU-58. Fr-261; Delm-1045. Spanish type using the Ferdinand and Isabella 2 Excelentes design with the titles of Philip II in legend. Slightly wavy flan but with a solid strike and no doubling. Well preserved with only a light brush of handling wear to cheeks and no contact marks to be found. Mild toning with nice original surfaces make for a very handsome piece.
