This specimen was lot 1039 in Jean Elsen sale 140 (Brussels, March 2019), where it sold for €1,300 (about US$1,732 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIE, NAPLES et SICILE, Ferdinand II (1830-1859), AV 6 ducati, 1847. 2e type, à la tête barbue. 5017 p. frappées. P. & R. 32; Fr-868. Rare Fines griffes. presque Superbe. (kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Ferdinand II, 1830-59, gold six ducati of 1847, second type, bearded head. Rare, fine scratches, about Extremely Fine.)"
KM 354, 7.57 g, .996 fine gold, 21.5 mm diameter, struck 1842, 1845-56, all dates very scarce.
