This specimen was lot 1467 in Jean Elsen sale 142 (Brussels, September 2019), where it sold for €2,400 (about US$3,116 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"MONACO, Louis Ier Grimaldi (1662-1702), AR écu de 3 livres (60 sols), 1668. D/ B. dr. et cuir. à d. R/ Ecu couronné. Gad. MC60. 26,92 g Très rare Petits coups. Beau à Très Beau (principality of Monaco, Louis I, 1662-1702, silver écu of three livres of 1668. Obverse: draped and armored bust right; reverse: crowned arms. Very rare, minor nicks, Fine - Very Fine.)"
