This specimen was lot 1528 in Jean Elsen sale 135 (Brussels, December 2017), where it sold for €2,200 (about US$3,047 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIE, MILAN, Marie-Thérèse d'Autriche (1740-1780), AR zecchino, 1779. D/ B. voilé à d. R/ Ecu ovale couronné, entre une palme et un rameau d'olivier. Crippa 37/B; Her. 387; Fr-735. 3,47 g Rare Fines griffes. presque Superbe. (duchy of Milan, Maria Theresia of Austria, 1740-80, gold zecchino of 1779. Obverse: veiled bust to right; reverse: crowned oval arms between a palm frond and an olive branch. Rare, fine scratches, about Extremely Fine.)"
KM 194, 3.33-3.48 g, .910 fine gold, struck 1778-80. rare.
